Who is Working Where?

Laine Theatre Arts is accredited by the Council for Dance Education and Training and funded by the YPLA.
Dance and Drama Awards - The Department for Education is currently considering arrangements for the financial support of young people over the age of 16 in full-time education.
Once discussions have been concluded the position regarding the provision of Dance and Drama Awards (DaDA) for 2012 will be announced. The timescale for a decision is unknown.
In the meantime all DaDA training providers have been instructed neither to allocate any Dance and Drama Awards for 2012 nor to make any provisional offers of awards. An announcement will be posted on this website immediately further information becomes available.
These Diplomas carry a Level 6 rating in the National Qualifications framework. This gives graduates the opportunity to follow their vocational training with a BA(Hons) in Professional Practice, currently offered by Middlesex University. The course code is 135W291. Please visit www.mdx.ac.uk for further information.
Alternatively graduates can follow the BA(Hons) Theatre Conversion Course offered by GSA and validated by Surrey University. Contact Helen Jackson 01483 734806 for further information.
