Teacher Training

There is a constant demand for the College's graduate teachers. They are currently teaching worldwide, applying the standards of excellence and technical expertise acquired from their training.

Students in their 2nd year of training may study the DDI (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing) in Classical Ballet and Modern Theatre Dance.

Subjects covered include the theory of teaching, incorporating anatomy, child development and music.

A major part of the training is supervised teaching practice within the College's own children's department, where students can observe and assist with the day-to-day training of children under the expert guidance of the College's highly qualified faculty.
