Adelle Leonce
My name is Adelle Leonce and I am originally from Yorkshire, Sheffield. My grandmother was a professional opera singer and musician and she took me under her wing having my debut on the stage at the age of 7. I realised in my teens that it wasn’t for me and studied straight acting at college and then Italia Conti drama school. Since leaving, I have worked in buildings such as National theatre, West end, Royal court and recently returned to my home town to perform at Sheffield crucible. I have also done a range of screen work from fantasy to comedy series and recently directed my first short film. Throughout my professional experience, I’ve learnt to be open to failure. It is only then when we start to take risks the we begin to have a sense of what feels right. There is no such thing as failure in the acting world. Failure, playfulness and truth is what I seek in my students.
