Laura Mcculloch
Laura McCulloch is Head of Ballet at Laine Theatre Arts and a former Soloist and Assistant Repetiteur with The Royal Ballet. A graduate of The Dance School of Scotland and The Royal Ballet Upper School, she joined The Royal Ballet during her final year of training. Her repertoire includes principal roles in Balanchine's Rubies and Serenade, MacMillan's Concerto, Myrtha in Giselle, Lilac Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty, and Mitsi Casper in Mayerling, with work by choreographers such as Mats Ek, Christopher Bruce, Alistair Marriott, and Christopher Wheeldon.
Laura holds The Royal Ballet and Opera's Diploma in Ballet Education Practice and Diploma in Dance Teaching, specialising in vocational training. She has taught at institutions including The Royal Ballet and National Ballet, Urdang, and London Children's Ballet.
Her creative work includes choreography for Laine's 2023 and 2025 summer shows, performances with inclusive and community projects such as Magpie Dance and Monday Moves, and contributions to ROH Learning and Participation with workshops throughout London, and choreography of Everybody Dance, The Nutcracker.
