**Join Our Musical Theatre Faculty at Laine Theatre Arts!**
Laine Theatre Arts is expanding our Musical Theatre team — and we’re looking for exciting and talented Musical Directors and Portfolio Coaches to help shape the next generation of performers. Are you a passionate and skilled collaborator with a deep love of Musical Theatre? This could be your next big role!

What we’re looking for:

  • Exceptional sight-reading skills
  • Encyclopaedic knowledge of MT repertoire
  • A collaborative, team-player mindset
  • Experience teaching in a Musical Theatre college environment
  • Proven track record in musical direction

Your role will include:

  • Playing for ATS (Acting Through Song) classes
  • Leading group harmony classes and teaching basic music theory
  • Teaching portfolio classes and advising on audition repertoire
  • Musical directing in-house performance projects

DIRECTOR OF PERFORMANCE

We are seeking a Director of Performance to join the college as we introduce our brand new 3-year Ba Hons in professional musical theatre. This role will be pivotal in advancing the integration of acting, singing, and dance within our Musical Theatre programme, fostering a holistic approach to performance. The Director of Performance will play a central role in enhancing students’ confidence and elevating the overall standard of performance across all disciplines. In collaboration with Heads of Department and Directors of Faculty, this individual will also contribute to the conception and execution of new, innovative performance opportunities within the college, ensuring our students are consistently challenged and showcased at the highest level.

We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented full-time Student Administrator to join our team at Laine Theatre Arts. This pivotal role supports the smooth running of the student journey from induction through to graduation, ensuring accurate data management, statutory reporting, and effective communication across departments. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Student Services and Head of Operations, contributing to key administrative processes including attendance monitoring, timetable creation, and the preparation of graduation documentation. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and supportive environment at one of the UK’s leading performing arts colleges.

SINGING

Freelance Technical Singing Teacher Wanted!

Are you passionate about vocal technique and musical theatre? Do you have a strong background in the Estill Voice Method (or similar), good accompanying and piano skills, and a deep understanding of Musical Theatre? Laine Theatre Arts, one of the leading performing arts schools in the UK, is looking for a talented and dynamic Freelance Technical Singing Teacher to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality singing lessons to students, utilizing the Estill Voice Method for vocal health, versatility, and range development.
  • Teach a variety of techniques to enhance vocal performance, focusing on power, clarity, and control.
  • Incorporate your piano skills to support students in both individual and group lessons, ensuring an accurate vocal line and a strong understanding of musicality.
  • Share your Musical Theatre knowledge to guide students in developing authentic, character-driven performances across a wide range of musical theatre styles.
  • Create a supportive, inspiring environment that encourages students to excel and express their creativity.
