Andrea Lowde

Andrea Lowde has held senior leadership roles across specialist higher education performing arts institutions, with extensive experience in student support, safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion, and academic quality. Her previous leadership roles include CEO and Principal of Ruthie Henshall's drama school and Principal of Performance Preparation Academy. Andrea is also an External Examiner for the CertHE Musical Theatre programme at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, supporting the maintenance of academic standards and quality assurance within higher education. Before moving into education, Andrea founded Entertainment Connect Ltd, producing bespoke entertainment for international cruise lines and supporting performers in professional production environments. She is passionate about creating inclusive learning environments and equipping emerging artists with the skills, confidence and professionalism to build successful, sustainable careers in the performing arts.
