Ben is an award-winning, London-based musical director, orchestrator, and singing teacher who has spent over a decade conducting in musical theatre and choral fields and teaching singing extensively across elite drama schools and beyond.

In theatre, his prominent credits include serving as Musical Supervisor for The White Handkerchief (BroadwayOnDemand, BBC 4), as Musical Director/Orchestrator for the German Tour of The Music of James Bond, The Boys From Syracuse (Upstairs At The Gatehouse) and West End Misfits (The Other Palace). In 2022, he won the Off-West End "Offie" Award for Best Musical Director for his work on Godspell, alongside an Off-Comm Award for Ordinary Days (The Cockpit) and his portfolio also features conducting productions of Grease and We Will Rock You for Royal Caribbean International, as well as serving as Musical Director for BBC Children in Need Enterprise Charity Gala at the Natural History Museum.

A highly accomplished singing teacher, Ben runs a thriving private practice training West End professionals, cruise ship vocalists, touring artists and singers from all over the world and has taught extensively at elite drama institutions including Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, Laine Theatre Arts, Associated Studios, University Of Chichester Conservatoire, Italia Conti and Emil Dale Academy. Formerly, Ben was Head Of Music for SLP College, Leeds.

Ben’s training includes PGCert in Vocal Pedagogy (Distinction) (Voice Study Centre Ltd), an MA in Musical Direction (Mountview) and BA (Hons) in Music majoring in Voice (The University of York). He is an Accredited Vocal Coach with New York Vocal Coaching (NYVC) and is currently working toward his EFP with Estill Voice International and One Voice Integrated Studies certification with One Voice Ltd.
