At Laine Theatre Arts, we are committed to a safe, respectful and inclusive community where sexual harassment and sexual misconduct have no place. In line with the Equality Act 2010, current UK law and the conditions of registration under the Office for Students’ , we define sexual harassment as unwanted behaviour of a sexual nature that violates dignity or creates an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive environment, and take all reports seriously whether or not they amount to a criminal offence. Our policy below sets out how to report concerns (including anonymous options), the support available, and how cases are investigated. All reports are handled sensitively, fairly and without the use of confidentiality clauses to prevent disclosure. We train staff to respond appropriately, review our processes regularly, and work to protect wellbeing, prevent abuse of power, and uphold lawful freedom of expression.
